Cette manifestation internationale est aujourd'hui largement reconnue pour la qualité de ses résultats mais aussi de son organisation et de son ambiance. C'est une semaine exceptionnelle pour apprendre autrement et former des professionnels de demain qui seront courageux, rigoureux, ingénieux et généreux.

Op zaterdag 1 juni 2013 vindt de achtste editie van de Dag van de Bouw plaats. De dag is onderdeel van de imagocampagne ‘De Bouw maakt het’ die werkgeversvereniging Bouwend Nederland samen met haar leden voert. Op de dag stellen leden van Bouwend Nederland kleine en grote bouw- en infraprojecten open voor het publiek. Zoals wegen, spoor- en vaarwegen, woningen en woonwijken, winkelcentra, kantoorpanden, zorg- en sport accommodaties en scholen. De diversiteit laat zien hoe belangrijk de sector is rond kernwaarden als wonen, werken, mobiliteit, recreatie en milieu. De dag staat open voor iedereen die een kijkje achter de hekken van een bouwlocatie wil nemen. Elke locatie is gratis te bezoeken. Het groeiende aantal bezoekers (vorig jaar 115.000) toont aan dat de dag in een grote behoefte voorziet. Het is voor de deelnemende bedrijven een uitgelezen kans om te laten zien tot welke hoogstandjes ze in staat zijn.

Les Journées de l’Architecture Bois sont deux journées portes ouvertes nationales gratuites sur la construction bois. Chaque année, plus d’une centaine de professionnels de la maison bois donnent rendez-vous au grand public, sur toutes les régions de France, pour l’informer, le guider et le conseiller sur leur projet de construction de maisons en bois.

67th International Convention: The International Convention is an astounding opportunity to become exposed to the wide range of timely forest products issues facing the industry worldwide. The theme for FPS's program is Forest Products in a Global Sustainable Economy, with particular emphasis on wood technology, forest products and the environment, and human dimensions and polic. FPS is co-organizing the Convention with the Society of Wood Science and Technology, and the program led by SWST will focus on Technology Advancement and Marketing Practices in Biomass, specifically in natural fiber-based products and biofuels. CONVENTION THEME: Forest Products: Solutions for a Global Green Economy Based on input we received from the 2012 International Convention attendees, we have made some fundamental changes to the 2013 Convention structure to increase the value to you and other attendees. Changes include: We have reduced registration fees across the board for members and non-members alike. Individuals who wish to join the Forest Products Society at the 2013 International Convention will receive a 50% discount on the new member fee. Meals will be "all inclusive" as part of the lower registration fee (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Significantly more time for networking has been scheduled into the program.
